Yael creates a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your world and goals together with curiosity. Drawing on CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and insight-oriented approaches, she helps clients take the lead in their lives and make choices that support their healthiest, most empowered selves.

Yael brings extensive experience working with individuals and families in private coaching, school settings, and the physical wellness field. This diverse experience has shaped her therapy style, grounded in the belief that meaningful growth requires insight, effort, and intention. In a therapeutic partnership, Yael helps clients identify where focused action and momentum are needed, and where practicing internal acceptance can reduce resistance and unnecessary strain. Yael is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work, where she trained in advanced clinical practice. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Haifa, completing the Major Clinical Track, and has extensive experience in private and group training, emphasizing the mind–body connection.

Yael brings extensive experience supporting clients across all ages, from children and adolescents to adults. She has worked with teenagers from underserved communities and at Astor Services for Children & Families, applying evidence-based approaches and family systems work to help clients develop resilience, emotional regulation, and coping skills for everyday challenges.
As a Parenting Coach, Yael supports couples and parents navigating communication difficulties, intimacy issues, divorce, blended families, and solo parenting transitions. She also guides parents through adjustments such as welcoming a first child or acclimating to a new culture or language. Her approach emphasizes practical strategies and connection, helping couples strengthen relationships and parents navigate challenges with confidence and collaboration.
Her background in physical wellness informs a mind–body approach to therapy. Yael co-founded KME, a leading NYC school for self-defense and fitness (2010–2021), and currently provides private and group training focused on strengthening both mental and physical resilience. This work complements her therapy practice by supporting confidence through action.
